Tony Takamiya
If you are lucky enough to be married to an architect, you understand there are certain quirky traits that come along with this profession. Tony is grateful that his wife, who is not an architect, is always amenable to joining him on trips to exotic locations – such as Toledo, Ohio – just to look at a building. He is fascinated with the way people engage with the built environment at every scale, from doorknobs to city blocks. With significant experience in a wide range of project typologies, Tony enjoys collaborating with diverse personalities and the investigative nature of the design process. He received his Bachelor of Architecture from IIT.
Tony is a self-diagnosed hoarder of vintage electric musical instruments.
