As a person with many hobbies, Michael is an avid painter and photographer and has been featured in several shows. He appreciates the composition, emphasis, creativity, and balance both activities bring to life. As an architect, this same notion carries over into his work, where he is most inspired by creating environments where people can thrive and succeed in physical, mental, and emotional well-being. A native of Calumet City, Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.

Michael also enjoys the dance and yoga classes he and his wife take together.
