Monika Olczyk
Monika was born in a small town in Poland with a long and hard to pronounce name. She later moved to study at the Wroclaw University of Technology and then at the Universitat Politecnica de Valencia in Spain, where she earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Architecture and Urban Planning. After that, she ventured across the globe to Sao Paulo, Brazil, where she earned her second Master’s degree. Throughout her career, Monika has been drawn to projects that require both technical expertise and a creative approach to overcome design limitations. Her portfolio includes various types of architecture, ranging from government and commercial to residential projects.
When she’s not working, Monika enjoys Brazilian-style barbecues and spending time at the beach, which happens to be her favorite activity. Currently, she resides in Seattle, Washington.
Monika has worked on United States embassies projects around the world, including Middle East, Africa, Asia and Central America.
