Nicky Walker
Nicky loves to travel and is always up for a challenge… she once piloted a light aircraft over the Grand Canyon, has been scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef, and has swum with dolphins in Egypt!
Nicky is passionate about the built environment and the preservation of communities. She believes human architecture and good urban design are intrinsically connected to our well-being and that cities designed with public spaces and with a human scale will always create neighborhoods that engender a sense of community. Nicky’s experience includes many years in architectural office management, previously working for renowned architectural practices Porphyrios Associates and Zaha Hadid Architects. Nicky has an appreciation for most architectural styles, but has a special love for classical and traditional vernacular.
If Nicky was stranded on a deserted island, her three essential items would be her cockapoo Murphy, books, and cheese (with a fridge!).
